2024 Annual Pyr Appeal
Thank you! We made our match of $75,000 and a little bit more. We are looking forward to a new year and doing the most we can for this wonderful breed.
Most of us in rescue are not sad to see this year go. Still, what we will remember are the dogs coming from neglectful situations who overcame their fears and physical challenges and moved on to better lives. We are happy we could make a difference for them and for all the dogs who found rescue and refuge with us this year.
Susan Innamorato, NGPR’s intake director, is asking you to open your hearts to the many needy Pyrs who need our help. “In my role to coordinate intake, I post about multiple dogs every day who are abandoned, injured and in danger of euthanasia, which is painful to see. I know how far support from caring people who love this breed can go. Your lifesaving donation can do so much good and will help us continue to provide relief, comfort and care for many needy dogs, while we find them homes.” We have match funding to double every dollar raised. We are very thankful to the generous foundations who make it possible to double donations during this holiday season. Rescue is tough in so many ways and your donation will multiply what we can do when there are so very many needy dogs.
