Lucy is two and came out of a crowded Tennessee shelter in May. She had four pups, who thankfully have found homes. Being a Mom matures and mellows many dogs and we think that’s true of Lucy. She’s a confident lady who likes spending time outside and would do best in a home with an easy-going male companion. She gets along with other dogs but like many females, she wants to be the boss! Lucy would like a home where she has space to explore and patrol, go on walks, just hang out and be her silly self. Read more about Lucy here.

This adorable guy is Cooper and we can’t say enough good things about him. He loves to be with his people, he’s not a big barker and he likes kitties. He can be a bit shy at first but he warms up quickly and loves getting pets and attention. Cooper’s never been in a shelter; he was moved to rescue from an overwhelmed breeder who couldn’t manage all the dogs she had—a situation we are seeing more frequently. This boy has a lot of love to give and he’s looking for the right family to give it to. Learn more about Cooper here.

Azalea is the perfect Pyr mix. Everyone agrees she is the sweetest girl. She loves being brushed, is crate trained, walks well on leash, and knows “sit” and “shake.” She is always eager to play with toys and with her canine friends. The good news is that a 4-foot fence would work well to contain Azalea—she’s not a roamer or a fence jumper. If you have a pool or some water to splash around in, all the better. You can read more about Azalea and see her video here.
