Saturday, September 9, Middletown KY

 
Meet and Greet the Pyrs:  9 am-2 pm, 12949 Shelbyville Rd, Middletown, KY. Our volunteers and adoptable dogs are at the store the second Saturday of every month. Contact Karen if you can attend or for more information.
 
Saturday and Sunday, September 23 & 24, New Haven CT

 
Operation Animal Freedom: 10 AM – 5 PM, 290 Washington Ave, New Haven CT. Billed as "Not your average adoption event!"  
with a purpose of finding homes for dogs and cats and many other species of animals including rats, birds, horses and bunnies. Also featuring cruelty-free vegetarian food and product vendors

Saturday, September 23, Hudson MA

 
Woofstock: 11 AM – 3 PM, 99 Park St., Hudson, MA. Seventh annual festival and fundraiser. Vendor booths include rescue groups, crafts, and businesses from all over New England. Raffles, delicious food, live music, kids' entertainment, contests, agility and dog demonstrations! For more info about the day click here. Rescue volunteers are needed for this event. Rotary Pet Fair:  10 AM – 4 PM, 25 Meeting House Rd, Albany NY. Capital Region Pet Adoption and Rescue Groups, Microchipping Clinic, Christmas Card Photos, Pet-Related Seminars, Demonstrations. For more info about the day, click here. To volunteer at the booth, contact Barbara.
 

Saturday, October 7, Emerson NJ

 
Liberty Subaru Annual Pet Adoption:  10 am-2 pm, 55 Kinderkamack Rd, Emerson, NJ. Adoptable pets from local rescue groups, food, pet costume contest. Contact Gail if you can attend or for more information.
 

Saturday, October 7, Prospect, KY

 
Paws in the Park:  11 am-3 pm, 12414 US Highway 42, Prospect, KY. Dog walk, agility course, pony games, music, food truck, vendors, prizes.  Contact Joye to volunteer or visit the website for more information.
 
Sunday, October 8, Guilford, CT

 
Puppy Up Cancer Walk:  Registration starts at 11 am;  walk at 1 pm. Lovers Ln, Guilford, CT 06437. Two-mile walk to promote awareness of canine cancer and fundraise for cancer research to benefit both pets and people. For more info about the day, click here. Rescue volunteers are needed for event.
