Zach, one of 8 puppies in the “Country Star” litter is a laid-back ray of sunshine! The Country Stars came to rescue as owner surrenders from a breeder who could not place them. They are being raised together with their foster's older Pyrs who they are very respectful of. This cutie pie is one happy social pup who always has a smile on his face—he never has a bad day! He loves his siblings and is always up for a good play session. Zach and his siblings are learning housetraining and are being well-socialized with people. They will need a home with big dog experience and a secure fenced yard. Zach is a confident young kid who just gets along with everyone—people, his siblings, and the big dogs in his foster home. Zach would love a home with a canine sibling or two to play and lounge around with. Zach would be happy to help plan your social get-togethers, greeting all the visitors with a big smile! He is just a confident boy who will fit in well with an active family or be content lazing around on a crisp fall day!

NYS Registered Rescue # RR102

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.

If you can't foster or adopt at this time, please consider helping our Neediest Cases or making a tax-exempt donation by visiting our Donate page.
