Handsome Stryker is looking for a loving home where he can settle down with his furever family. Newly initiated into the tripawd world, Stryker is doing exceptionally well and he is eager to enjoy life to its fullest. Relatively mellow in nature, Stryker is a lovely companion for someone who is looking for a calm and mature gentlepyr. Stryker enjoys the company of his canine companions, though he generally prefers to hang back and watch the youngsters ruff play. In many ways, Stryker's innate guardian instinct encourages him to keep a watchful eye over his four-legged and two-legged charges. He adores his two-legged friends, and he enjoys teaching them important life lessons about being kind, gentle, and respectful of different beings' different abilities. This gorgeous boy will be the pyrfect addition to a family who has the time to love on him, and continue with maintaining his physical fitness as he navigates everyday life as a tripawd. If you are willing to open your heart for this special boy, we are pawsitive Stryker will be your furry best friend in no time!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
