This beautiful girl pup is Sonee and she is such a sweetheart! Sonee is a sweet and happy girl who is doing great and learning everything a good pup needs to know. Sonee, her brother and 2 other Pyrenees were picked up on the highway in TN and went unclaimed. Since she has been in rescue, she is doing so well and will run right up to you for attention and affection! She is just now learning to walk nicely on leash and doing fairly well, and she is getting used to rides in the car. Sonee is doing great on her housetraining, so far, she has not had on accident inside, so her potty training is going great but you have to take her out at regular intervals. Sonee likes playing in the yard with the other dogs. Off lead she runs, plays, is happy and comes right to you. She will stay with you out in the yard (fenced) while walking. This sweet and gentle girl sleeps all night unless she needs to go potty and she will bark for you to take her out then goes right back to sleep. She does have plenty of kong (hard chewers) toys that she loves. Sonee enjoys being brushed and often will go to sleep while you're doing it :) She’s still learning to getting used to nails trims but she lets you. She would do best with a gentle, soft-spoken person with lots of patience. She does best with dogs that are very laid-back, not bossy and is fine with cats. Sonee is so loving and enjoys being loved back. She will be an amazing addition for some lucky family!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
