My Story
Adoption Pending. You can see more of these beautiful dogs by clicking on Rescue Dogs.
This absolutely gorgeous fluffy Pyrenees girl is Simone and she is a doll! Simone is such a sweetheart, she's friendly and great with everyone she meets. Simone is a sweet submissive girl who loves other dogs. She adores playing with everyone and loves to run around the play yard. She is such a sweet and happy gal! Simone came to rescue in Georgia when she went unclaimed at a very crowded shelter that had several Pyrenees who’s time ran out. Thankfully we got Simone and the other dogs safe to rescue just in time. Simone walks so nicely on leash - she is housetrained and so well-behaved indoors. This lovely girl would absolutely love a great home and family of her own. She is such a great companion and would do well with other dogs as she loves to play. Her foster mom adores her and says she is a fabulous dog! Simone will make an amazing companion for some lucky family. Simone is heartworm positive but doing well on the slow kill treatment. We will provide the monthly meds she needs to continue her treatment, and she should be free and clear in a few months time. We are all so happy Simone is safe now in rescue and cannot wait to see her find her furever family. Could it be yours?

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
