My Story

Adoption Pending. You can see more of these beautiful dogs by clicking on Rescue Dogs.

Hi! My name is Ripley, but my foster mom calls me “Rippy Roo” which makes me happy and go running to her for hugs and cuddles! My favorite things, next to my human’s loving is eating, chewing bully sticks, throwing my toys in the air, and napping in my fluffy bed! My mom says I am soooo good with my crate training. I go right in, eat my meals, and wait patiently until it is time to com out for love and play. I sleep through the night and never have accidents. I’d really like to have a playmate who will wrestle and snuggle with me. I am very good at sharing my toys and listen to the big dogs when they teach me manners. My mama was a white Great Pyrenees, but I am not sure who my daddy was. My mama and I were surrendered to a shelter when I was a baby because our owner went into a nursing home. It was so scary, but my foster mom and siblings are teaching me to be brave, feel secure and I am a big boy now! I can’t wait to get my very own furever home and family. I promise to make you laugh and be happy! I will do anything you ask for a treat :) I am going to be tall so I’ll need a big yard with a secure fence to play in with my canine sibling. Please pick me to be your new puppy!

NYS Registered Rescue # RR102

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
