My Story

Molly is our very special girl who is looking for her own special furever family. Molly gets along great with her doggie siblings and even loves when strangers come to her home for a visit. Life had not been kind to Molly the first few years of her life, but despite all the neglect and hardships she has endured, she remains a happy and grateful girl, especially now that she is surrounded by love and affection. Her coat is growing back nicely and she will soon be as beautiful outside as inside. This special girl loves her people, and would very much like it if she can stay by your side at all times, and have her very own safe space. Although basic cues were foreign language to her when she first came into rescue, she has come a long way and has pyrfect leash manners! We are pawsitive that Molly will make you the envy of the neighborhood, both with her lovely manner and her friendly temperament. In fact, Molly may well be the pyrfect ice breaker when you run into your neighbors, as she will offer herself up for head scratches and gentle pets (for as long as possible :) She's fairly low energy, so a couple walks a week are fine with her. Although Molly can get car sick, she is always up to going to places, provided the ride is short and not bumpy. This lovely girl has come such a long way and it is past time she get settled down in her furever home. Molly enjoys routine and learns fast. She doesn't need a 6 ft fence as she doesn't want to leave you :) We are pawsitive that Molly will thrive in a loving home where her people will have the patience to help her adjust to a new environment and shower her with love and affection. This sweet girl has so much love to give, and she deserves to be loved and cherished. Will you welcome Molly to be part of your family?

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
