My Story

Adoption Pending. You can see more of these beautiful dogs by clicking on Rescue Dogs.

This adorable young Pyrenees mix boy is Milo and he is the nicest Pup! Milo is super sweet, and as friendly as can be. Has a great personality and is very smart and eager to please. He loves other dogs and loves to play. Milo is such a good-natured fellow. He's a smaller Pyr mix - we're not exactly sure what he is mixed with but he is 100% adorable :) Milo was picked up laying down on the highway and rescuers initially thought he was hit by a car, thankfully he was just fine. He may have been dumped as we often see these poor guys laying in the same spot where they were dropped off. Milo was widely posted and sadly, he went unclaimed. We are all so happy this sweet boy is safe now in rescue. Before coming to rescue, Milo was given a terrible haircut but his gorgeous long coat is starting to grow in nicely now! Milo would do great with a family with other dogs that he can pal around with. He will be a great addition for some lucky family!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
