Memphis—the most handsome boy around with the PYRsonality to match! This young kid is now accepting applications to find his PYRfect furever family! He wanted us to be sure to tell everyone how much he loves people—all people! He is not only gorgeous, but smart, very treat motivated and is ready to learn as much as he can! He knows sit, crate, rides great in the vehicle, and loves to be groomed. He gets very excited when his person gets his harness out—that means it is time for his walk! Memphis also really enjoys water and playing so he is looking forward to summer :) He likes other dogs but is more interested in his people so would do great as an only dog for an active family looking for their new best friend. He looks forward to his daily hikes thru the woods—he is trying to shed a few pounds to ensure he looks his best when he meets you. He could possibly be a great camping companion, up for hiking and enjoying the campfire at night. If you are fun-loving, active, have large breed experience and want to add a fun-loving boy to your family, look no further! To learn more about this big hunk of burning love, put in an application today!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.

We may consider fostering for some of our dogs who are in boarding. Please visit Fostering FAQfor an application and information about our fostering program.
