Summer is winding down, but it will never be too late to enjoy a Summer Chiller—The Summer Chillers are Pyr mix pups making their big debut and ready to meet their furever families! Mama, a stray had her babies under a porch...she was brought into rescue with her 5-week old babies--6 sons and 1 daughter. These babies are sweet, smart, and so well-behaved, being raised with other dogs and around children and plenty of toys! They love their toys!! Martini is a cute little bundle of fur and love! He may be the smallest of the 7 but he makes up for size with PYRsonality—all charm, love, and fun! Martini loves it when the kids visit—he enjoys following them around the yard, cuddling and giving kisses! Martini has a little spunk in him, too, and can keep up in play with his bigger siblings who are 6-10 lbs heavier. He also always seems to pose whenever the camera is out—what a ham :) Martini is learning to go outside for potties. We have not started crate training, but he and his litter are super smart and that should be a breeze. He did great on the car ride to the vet. Mojito will need a secure fenced yard, at least 5 ft, and a canine sister or brother to play with. What do you think—is he your PYRfect Martini?

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
