My Story

You can see more beautiful dogs by visiting our Adoptable Dogs page.

Our gorgeous girl Koda is ready to cuddle up with you in her furever home just in time for the summer! Koda is a ball of fun - perfect for an active family looking for a pup willing to play and who will also spend some quality quiet time laying around. She loves her rope toys but her most prized possession is her kiddie pool where she will splash around in what she loves most... water! Whether it be her kiddie pool, water bowl, or occasional toilet dive, Koda is a fish looking for a good time :) She also has a blast with her foster family chasing her around with her toys and playing around the yard with her male foster siblings. When play time is over, Koda would prefer to be right by her people’s side and will happily join you in watching your favorite shows. Working from home? No problem! Koda will take a snooze next to your chair and join you relaxing on the porch during a break. Koda can be slow with warming up to new people, but once she has had her sniffs you can bet she will be looking for pets! This young girl will flourish as an only-pup or with a laid-back male fur-brother, she also would do great with respectful older children. Koda will thrive in an environment where she will be adored, loved, and pampered. Just like any young pooch, she will benefit from consistent positive reinforcement training, as well as regular amounts of exercise and enrichment activities. Koda has so much to give, and she is eager for a family of her own to love. Welcome her into your home, and we guarantee you an unlimited supply of hugs, nose boops, and Pyr paws furever!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
