My Story

Adoption Pending. You can see more of these beautiful dogs by clicking on Rescue Dogs.

If you are keeping your paws crossed for the pyrfect Pyr boy, look no further because Kaiser is THE pyrfect one. Despite being young, Kaiser knows his basic cues and has excellent leash and house manners. He has a goofy, fun-loving pyrsonality that makes him one of the best playmates - you wanna play ball? Sure! Play catch me if you can? Right behind ya! Splash in the kiddie pool? Absolutely! As far as we can tell, Kaiser is not selective about his people. Sure he may have his favorite folks, but Kaiser has this magical quality that immediately lets all people feel at ease and fall in love with him. If you happen to have some spare time, ear scratches, pets, brushes, and belly rubs are all welcome :) If you want to polish some of your training skills with tricks, we have no doubt Kaiser will be the best sidekick! Kaiser is looking for a furever family where he can be loved and cherished as an essential part of the family. He would also love to have a similar-aged playmate to keep him company, though he will also be content if you are willing to dedicate time to ensure he has adequate physical and mental enrichment. Kaiser had to have his coat shaved but it will soon grow back long and gorgeous! This wonderful boy has so much pawtential, and if you adopt him, he may just become your best friend furever!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
