My Story

Adoption Pending. You can see more of these beautiful dogs by clicking on Rescue Dogs.

This handsome fellow is July, and he is ready to settle down in his furever home where he can spend his days being loved and pampered! Although July came into rescue with very little training, he is eager to please and has made big strides since. He has almost pyrfected his manners, and continues to work on mastering other cues so he can be the pawsome boy he is supposed to be. July is a friendly boy who gets along with all his canine foster siblings, and he is hoping that he will have a furever playmate in his new home so they can share all the fun things together. This boy also loves to be groomed regularly to keep up his gorgeous appearance, and it is always a bonus when he gets the one-on-one attention he craves. All in all, July has all the pawtential to be the most pyrfect companion for one lucky family. If you are willing to continue with his pawsitive reinforcement training, we have no doubt that July will be the shining star in your life for years to come!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
