Oklahoma dogs are not available to adopters who live in an apartment.

This litter of 4 female Great Pyrenees pups born 2/24/2023 are ready to find their fur-ever homes! The owner and Momma took great care of them until they were 8 weeks old and then the rescue took over placing them into foster care. Now that they've had two rounds of vaccines, are spayed and de-wormed they are ready to join their families! The pups are well socialized, are crate training, potty-training and learning their basic house manners.

Pictured is Jessie. Her and sister Jordy are fostered together near Tulsa. Jessie is outgoing and sweet, well socialized and will be a great member of the dedicated family that offers her a furever home. She would love an outdoorsy family that she could join in on their adventures!

The adoption application is available at www.nationalpyr.org  Out of state adopters are welcome, however you'll need to be prepared to travel to Tulsa on adoption day to meet your puppy and finalize the adoption in person.

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
