This adorable puppy is Emily and she is such a sweetheart! Emily is a sweet, bouncy fun-loving pup who wants to be your new best friend! She adores people and loves playing with all of her doggie pals in her foster home. Her foster mom just loves this sweet pup and so will you. Here are some notes from her foster mom: "Emily is the sweetest girl. She enjoys romping and playing with the big dogs in the house. She is super smart and 95% housetrained. She sleeps through the night outside her crate. She is crate trained, but is such a good girl, we don't make her stay in it." Sweet Emily came into rescue from a crowded Animal Control in TN when she was picked up on the highway walking down the road. She was brought to the shelter and went unclaimed so we were happy to bring her into rescue. Emily is so gentle and so sweet! She loves other dogs and loves to play so she would do great with another playful dog as a companion. She is a quick learner, and will happily follow you around the yard and come running up to you for affection and love. She is beautiful, sweet and smart and learning everything she needs to know at her foster home. This pretty girl is ready for a great home of her own! Could it be yours?

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
