Adoption Pending. You can see more of these beautiful dogs by clicking on Rescue Dogs.

If you are looking for an active companion to keep things interesting, pup Dusty may be the pyrfect boy for you! Dusty is quite the goofball and he has an insatiable sense of curiosity. For Dusty, everything in life is worth investigating...What is it? What can you do with it? Where does it go? Are you working in the garden? Dusty will be right by your side helping out with weeding and making sure the pyrfect vegetables are harvested :) Are you going out for a walk? Dusty will be by your feet making sure that you stop and smell all the flowers and interesting lamp posts along the way. This young boy is like a sponge, he eagerly soaks up all the new experiences and LOVES all the new things he encounters. Better yet, Dusty is treat motivated and eager to please - he is a fabulous student in learning all his basic cues and manners. Just imagine all the tricks you can teach this boy! Of course, just like any boy his age, Dusty will benefit from consistent pawsitive reinforcement training, ensuring that he will mature into the most pyrfect companion. To keep Dusty safe, he needs a secure 5 foot fence and a canine playmate. Wait no longer and bring this curious, fun-loving boy home with you!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
