My Story
Adoption Pending. You can see more of these beautiful dogs by clicking on Rescue Dogs.
This adorable Pyrenees baby is Dolly and she is such a sweetheart! Dolly is such a happy puppy, she is great with everyone she meets and loves to play with all of the other doggies big and small in her foster home. She does great meeting other dogs and loves playing in the yard. Dolly is new to leash walking, so her foster mom has been working with her on leash training. Dolly was a stray pup wandering all alone and picked up on a busy street. She went unclaimed and no one was looking for her, so they reached out to rescue to help find her a great home. Thankfully, we were able to find a foster home for her to go to, so she is safe now in rescue. Dolly loves being indoors and she is so smart, she will go to the door to scratch as soon as she has to go out to the bathroom - her foster mom reports she is completely housetrained, as she is able to let her out whenever she needs to go. Dolly has the most gorgeous brown eyes a beautiful fluffy coat, and she is as sweet as can be. Dolly would love to find a great family of her own. She is still just a baby so she will need continued training and more work on leash. She is such a happy sweet girl, we are all so thankful she is safe now in rescue and ready to find her furever home!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
