My Story

Adoption Pending. You can see more of these beautiful dogs by clicking on Rescue Dogs.

Dashing Damien is a handsome and playful young boy who is determined to charm his way into your heart. This happy-go-lucky pup came into rescue with his 7 (!!) Pyr mix siblings, and he is more than ready to embrace life with his furever family. Damien has an innate love for water, and he has shown to be quite the expert swimmer since his young age. If you love water sports, this handsome boy will no doubt be your pyrfect companion as you go on adventures together on the kayak or paddle board! This kiddo is working hard on pyrfecting his basic cues - he listens very well and walks great on a leash. He's housetrained and loves his crate. During down times, this young boy can often be found playing joyfully with his foster siblings and/or chilling with his feline friends. Damien is always eager to please and is very treat motivated, making training sessions a fun and enjoyable activity for all parties involved. Damien has such a charming pyrsonality that easily makes him a wonderful companion. With consistent training, a home with a secure fenced yard, and another dog to play with, we are positive that Damien will mature into your most loyal friend in no time - what more can anyone ask for? :)

NYS Registered Rescue # RR102

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
