My Story

Adoption Pending. You can see more of these beautiful dogs by clicking on Rescue Dogs.

This gorgeous young boy is Crash and he is a big gorgeous boy looking for a great home of his own. Brand new to rescue, Crash is an easy-going guy with a happy demeanor, and a great smile! He came to rescue from an overcrowded shelter when he was surrendered by an owner who could no longer care for him. In his previous home, Crash lived indoors and was an only dog, but he is doing great now in boarding and making friends with all of the other dogs (he still needs to be tested with cats). Crash is a pretty calm boy and was alone since he was a pup, so he is just now learning how to play. He would do fine as an only dog or would enjoy having a dog pal in his new home - his best friend in boarding is a young female Pyrenees. Crash is housetrained, doing well with leash walking, respects the fence, and even sits nicely for grooming and nail trimming. This big handsome boy will be a fantastic addition for a lucky family. We just love him and so will you!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
