My Story

Adoption Pending. You can see more of these beautiful dogs by clicking on Rescue Dogs.

This absolutely adorable boy is Chunk and he is one big gorgeous puppy with a big personality to match his size! Chunk is aptly described by his name and he is one happy pup, likely to be a really big fellow. Chunk came into rescue with two of his sisters, part of a large farm litter in Georgia. Both parents are gorgeous good-natured Great Pyrenees and Chunk and his sisters have the same good-natured temperament. Chunk is a friendly fellow and he is having a blast playing with his sisters and the other dogs at his foster. He is getting so big so fast! Chunk would absolutely love a great family of his own with a doggy brother or sister to play with or maybe a few? :) He will need to go to a home with a fenced in yard and Great Pyrenees or large breed experience. So far his days have been spent outdoors on the farm, so he will need to be taught housetraining and indoor living skills, and everything else a growing pup needs to learn. He really is a great pup who loves people and loves to play with his pals out in the yard. This big gorgeous boy is ready for a great home and family of his own and he is ready to travel to his new home!

NYS Registered Rescue # RR102

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
