My Story

Adoption Pending. You can see more of these beautiful dogs by clicking on Rescue Dogs.

Confident, cutie Cash, one of 8 puppies in the “Country Star” litter is both sweet and smart! The Country Stars came to rescue as owner surrenders from a breeder who could not place them. They are being raised together with their foster's older Pyrs who they are very respectful of. Cash is an awesome pup who will grow up to be an amazing dog. This boy is one of the leaders in the litter. Cash enjoys playing with his siblings, but he also takes time out for himself! One smart pup who learns fast, Cash and his siblings are learning housetraining and are being well-socialized with people. They will need a home with big dog experience and a secure fenced yard. A home with a canine sibling to play with and then just laze around the yard or house is something Cash sees in his future :) He will also do great joining a family with large breed experience to help him grow up to be the amazing dog he was born to be! Cash is just one happy guy who is waiting to learn all you can teach him—he will soak it up!

NYS Registered Rescue # RR102

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.

If you can't foster or adopt at this time, please consider helping our Neediest Cases or making a tax-exempt donation by visiting our Donate page.
