My Story

Adoption Pending. You can see more of these beautiful dogs by clicking on Rescue Dogs.

This adorable sweet girl is Azalea, and she is cute as a button with the most loving pyrsonality to match! If you are looking for a fun-loving sidekick to be your furry best friend, Miss Azalea may be the pyrfect girl for you. Despite her young age, Azalea excels in her basic cues and has lovely house manners. She is always eager to play with her foster siblings, and she longs for a furever playmate to be her partner in all sorts of adventures. This young girl is quite creative when it comes to playtime, in fact, she can find joy playing with almost anything in her proximity, and she is never shy about sharing her newly invented games with her foster siblings or favorite people. Azalea has an affinity for water, so much so that she can easily spend her entire day splashing in the kiddie pool with her foster siblings. This adorable girl is so easy to love; although she will tell you that the the shortcut to gain her affection is cheese, we are pawsitive that a generous dose of affection works like a charm as well :) If you are ready to open your heart to this wonderful girl, there is no doubt she will be your furry BFF for years to come!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
