My Story

Adoption Pending. You can see more of these beautiful dogs by clicking on Rescue Dogs.

This adorable gal is Ariel, and she is hoping to spend her first summer with her furever family! She is quite the happy-go-lucky girl who is thrilled to be involved in any activity. Whether it is to explore the back corner of the yard, play with her foster siblings, take a leisurely stroll in the neighborhood, or tag along in the car as you run your errands, Ariel is your go-to sidekick to keep you company. She has been taken to several restaurants with her foster and is very comfortable around new dogs and people - she wants to meet everyone! These days, Ariel is working hard on polishing her basic cues so she can charm her way into your heart, and fair warning, she hasn't failed to charm anyone yet :) Ariel will need to have a 6' fence so she continues to mature in a safe and secure environment, and a sibling to be her furever best pals to play with and learn from. When it comes to her furever home, Ariel is hoping for a family where she can be involved in your everyday activities, including training so she can show off her smartness. As long as you provide Ariel with an abundance of love and consistent pawsitive reinforcement, this lovely girl will mature into your best companion in no time!

NYS Registered Rescue # RR102

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
