My Story

This sweet girl is Angel, a very special girl who is looking for a furever home where she can be cherished like a princess. Angel came into rescue skinny and traumatized by her history, but she has since settled in nicely in her foster home and is starting to gain some much-needed weight along with growing in her coat so she can look extra beautiful :) For the most part, Angel feels most comfortable with her four-legged furry friends. She is an excellent playmate who is up to whatever fun her foster siblings may be up to; she will most definitely benefit with another male canine playmate at home so she can learn to live the best of her life with her very own best friend. During down times, Angel is a fan of snoozing in the breeze, preferably somewhere shady so she can keep cool. When it comes to meeting new people, Angel is understandably timid, given her background, but if you are patient and are willing to open your heart to her, she will bond fiercely with you and vow to be your protective guardian for life. Despite all the hardships she has been through, Angel has so much life in her and she will absolutely thrive when showered with love and kindness. Her foster mom says she is the BEST and just PERFECT! If you are willing to open your heart to this girl, we are pawsitive that she will transform into your very own guardian Angel in no time!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
