My Story

Looking for furry snuggle buddies? Look no further...these girls LOVE attention and snuggles :) Ailish is a Pyr/Lab mix with gorgeous badger markings. She is tall and agile with soft, long fur. Skylar is an all-white Pyr/Akbash mix with shorter thick fur. Get the brush out and they come running to you! Ailish is older by a year and is the leader. Skylar has been with her since she was a young pup, and looks to her for comfort, fun and security. Although both are females, they get along harmoniously. Ailish gets along with all dogs, but Skylar would probably do best with other males. Cats are furry best friends to both! Both still like to wrestle and chase each other around the yard and house. Both have been known to climb over 4-5 ft fences in their past home so a tall 6 foot fence is preferred. If they had the choice, Ailish would choose to be with her human(s) 24/7! Skylar loves her people, too, but is also content lounging in the backyard. These girls are excellent on a leash and enjoy long walks in the woods. They welcome new dog friends that they meet along the path. Although both are initially shy with new people, they show no guarding or reactivity. If you are looking for two loyal gals to grow old with, take for walks, play with, and just love on you should put in an application to learn more about this wonderful pair!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
